Royal diary: What's coming up this week
A big Westminster Abbey service and a day out at the races...
If you’re read my fellow Royal Clubber Ainhoa’s Story Behind The Photo feature and my weekly Fashion Friday newsletter, you’ll know that it’s a big week for the royal family.
After a short break, Queen Camilla will be back to public engagements this week and royal fashion fans will need to keep their eyes firmly on a certain racecourse.
Find out what’s coming up…
Monday
The Queen and the Prince of Wales will head up the royal family at the annual Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey.
They will be joined by the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent.
While the King will miss the event, he has pre-recorded a video message, which will be played during the service.
For those of you based in the UK, you can watch coverage live on the BBC from 2.15pm.
Elsewhere, Princess Anne will also attend the City Food and Drink Lecture at Guildhall, London.
Tuesday
The annual Cheltenham Festival starts and runs until Friday. Expect the likes of Mike and Zara Tindall to be among the race-goers.
Princess Anne will be in Renfrewshire, Scotland to attend the Hebridean Island Cruises Limited 60th Anniversary Luncheon on board Hebridean Princess.
Wednesday
The Duchess of Edinburgh will be in West Sussex to attend The Jim Green Challenge - an annual competition for students with mild or moderate learning difficulties attending land-based Colleges and Further Education Centre.
She will also visit Super Siblings - a support group for siblings of those with additional needs, offering sessions for children to have fun and socialise.
Thursday
Celebrations will be in order for Monaco’s royal family as Prince Albert turns 66.
Friday
It’s already been confirmed that Princess Anne will attend the final day of Cheltenham Festival, so keep your eyes peeled.
Maybe she will wear one of her milliner Amy Morris-Adams’ fabulous hats, who I was lucky to speak with recently.
