Hello, Royal Clubbers, it’s Millie here. We’re well-accustomed to seeing all manner of finery grace the ears, necks, hands and heads of royalty, and these precious gems often come with a varied history of their own.
For example, Queen Camilla’s incredible coronation crown is repurposed from its original creation for Queen Mary, the wife of King George V, at her coronation in 1911.
The controversial Koh-i-Noor diamond was removed from the original crown when Queen Camilla wore it, and was replaced with the Cullinan III, IV, and V diamonds from the late Queen Elizabeth II's personal jewellery collection.
It weighs half a kilogram and estimated to be worth around £400 million, featuring 2,200 diamonds. Not to be sniffed at, I think you’d agree.
We wondered, with such a wealth of stunning jewels in the possession of royal families around the world, if you would like to learn more from experts about royal diamonds?

I'd appreciate some info: In between Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Elizabeth II came Elizabeth, wife of the King - Elizabeth II's father. George the VI. Why wasn't Queen Elizabeth II's mom, Elizabeth II, rather than her daughter? If the wives of kings are not related by blood to the royal family, how did the current wife of King Charles VII, Queen Camilla transfer from Queen Consort to Queen?
