In celebration of the Princess of Wales’ 44th birthday today, Kensington Palace has just released a new video showing Catherine on an early morning walk in Berkshire.
The nearly two-minute clip is the final edition of the Princess’ Mother Nature series, a project that she has been working on for the past year. In a personally signed message on social media, she wrote: “The Mother Nature series has been a deeply personal, creative reflection on how nature has helped me heal.
“But it is also a story about the power of nature and creativity in collective healing. There is so much we can learn from Mother Nature, as we look to build a happier, healthier world. C.”
The video, shot by Will Warr and narrated by the Princess, was also filmed in Cumbria, Gloucestershire, London, East Sussex and The Cotswolds.
As she has recovered, Catherine has been fairly open about her healing journey over the past two years. The philosophy of the film, and the whole series, is how important it is to reconnect with nature, and Catherine highlights how nature has contributed to her own healing process.
We understand these themes will continue to shape her work in the future, so stay tuned.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on Catherine’s latest video, and the whole Mother Nature series. Leave a comment below.
