BREAKING: Harry arrives in London

The Duke of Sussex is in court today for his trial against Associated Newspapers Limited

As we send this post out, the Duke of Sussex is in court this morning for his trial against Associated Newspapers Limited (publisher of the Daily Mail) in which he alleges unlawful information gathering. The trial is due to last nine weeks and Harry is expected to make more court appearances in the coming days.

The King’s son is one of seven high-profile people suing ANL and accusing it of carrying out or commissioning unlawful activities, such as hiring private investigators to place listening devices inside cars or “blagging” private records.

The other six famous claimants are Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish, actresses Elizabeth Hurley and Sadie Frost, politician Sir Simon Hughes, and Baroness Doreen Lawrence of Clarendon (Stephen Lawrence’s mother).

As Harry arrived at the High Court this morning in central London, Alex was on the ground to capture his arrival. The Duke was driven in a Range Rover and discreetly used the side entrance. Watch her video above.

And in case you missed it, our newsletter last week written by royal author Robert Jobson argued why Harry deserves paid security – and not just because he’s a royal. Read it here and make sure to leave a comment.

We also ran a poll recently and asked for your thoughts on whether it was a shame that Harry will not be meeting up with his father while he’s in the UK this week. See the results here.
