Best of HELLO! royal coverage today
Princess Leonor starts her final year of military training and more...
Hi Royal Clubbers, it’s Iona here.
First up, here’s the best of the royal coverage over on HELLO! today.
Princess Leonor has a Top Gun moment as she wears air force uniform for the first time
Princess Lilibet makes 'clever' daily demand to Meghan Markle at home
Crown Princess Mette-Marit forced to cancel US trip with husband due to medical advice
Queen Camilla 'fought off sexual assault' when she was a teenager, new royal book claims
And the winner is…
On Friday I asked whether you thought Princess Beatrice should become a working royal. Sixty-three per cent said yes.
As some comments suggested, the royal family could do with a helping hand, especially as she is already a strong supporter of the monarchy.
That said Princess Beatrice has two daughters, with Athena born in January. So perhaps the time isn’t quite right jus yet.
Poll of the day
As you will have read, Princess Leonor joined the General Air Academy to mark the start of her final year of military training.
While Princess Leonor will undertake ground-based flying lessons before taking to the air, and it will be some time before she flies solo, I can’t help but think she is very brave for a 19-year-old!
Anything aircraft-related is an absolute no from me. Although I enjoy travelling, I’m a nervous flyer.
The thought of flying a small plane solo would be disastrous, and I don’t think anyone could pay me enough to even try a lesson.
Let’s not even mention skydiving... but I truly commend Princess Leonor – I think this is such a cool achievement, and I can’t wait to hear more.
So for today’s poll:
As ever, please expand on your answer in the comments.
Picture of the day
On Sunday, Princess Märtha Louise of Norway marked her one-year wedding anniversary with shaman Durek Verrett.
I wanted to choose this as the picture of the day, as this Norwegian royal wedding was the first major royal event after I joined the HELLO! team – so it was especially significant and memorable to me.
The three-day ceremony was truly memorable, set in the serene Geirangerfjord. The celebrations sounded incredible, including a boat party and salsa dancing.
You can even read Confessions of a Royal Wedding Reporter – an exciting account by one of HELLO!’s Royal Club editors, Andrea, about her experience travelling abroad for the wedding last summer.
Monday’s puzzles
That’s all for today, Royal Clubbers. See you tomorrow!

I did while I was making industrial films overseas, but now that I am retired I am happy to continue writing romantic comedies in the comfort of my study, my tenth so far, with two animal stories wating for publication.
I do not like heights or turbulence, but love the destinations I chose to visit.
