Hello Royal Clubbers,
Just hours after Princess Catherine released her heartwarming family video, confirming that she has finished her course of chemotherapy and is returning to work this autumn, her husband Prince William was out on the royal beat carrying out an away day in the market town of Llanelli, South Wales.
William had a busy schedule that began with a visit to a local primary school, where he was treated to a lively performance by school children, after which he visited the Wales Air Ambulance headquarters in his role as patron of the charity. William, who worked as an air ambulance pilot between 2015 and 2017, was promoting Air Ambulance Week.
The third and final engagement of the day took the Prince to Parc y Scarlets, the home of the Scarlets Rugby Union team, where he met members of the current Wales female international team who have recently qualified for the 2025 World Cup.
The video above shows a little preview of William's day out, during which he received plenty of cards and gifts for his wife. "Thank you, very much appreciated," he told well-wishers, while also revealing that Catherine's health update is "good news" but there is "still a long way to go".
You can watch a much longer video from William's Welsh visit below. Enjoy!
