William was all smiles as he arrived at the BAFTAs

Our TV and Film Editor, Emmy Griffiths, is at the BAFTAs tonight, where Prince William is attending as a guest of honour and as President of the charitable organisation.

The venue, Royal Festival Hall, went into lockdown mode as the Prince was due to arrive. He's just walked the red carpet now and Emmy was there to capture the moment.

As expected, William arrived solo, without his wife Princess Kate, who has remained at home as she continues her recovery post surgery.

BAFTA Chair Sara Putt welcomed William to the ceremony and thanked him for being there, and also sent her best wishes to the Prince's wife.
