It’s Millie here, bringing you the latest from Emily Nash who is accompanying the King Charles and Queen Camilla on their state visit to Italy today.
Another busy day for Their Majesties saw Queen Camilla meet students from an Italian state school, while her husband met Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni for their first official meeting, taking a tour of the gardens and Baroque architecture of the Villa Doria Pamphili.
The King and Queen were later shown a document which declared Henry VIII ‘Defender of the Faith’ in 1521 as they visited the Italian senate, and the King addressed Italian parliament.
