WATCH: A busy day for the royals
A state banquet and some distinguished guests
Hello Royal Clubbers, it’s Millie here with a special video for those of you who enjoy a bit of royal pomp and ceremony.
On Tuesday, King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted the Emir of Qatar at Buckingham Palace, posing for photographs alongside Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the first of his three wives, Sheikha Jawaher.
They were not the only royals in attendance, as the Prince of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were also in attendance.
Princess Catherine was absent as she continues to recover from chemotherapy, but she was involved in some of the elements of the Emir’s royal visit.
It was very exciting to see the royals out in all their finery. Keen-eyed royal fans will notice that Queen Camilla wore a resplendent tiara belonging to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
