The royal family’s summer diary is filling up, with the Royal Windsor Horse Show this week marking the start of the series of annual events. Have you got your hat for Royal Ascot in June yet?
The Prince and Princess of Wales have not one, but two special occasions to celebrate, including Princess Charlotte’s ninth birthday!
As my fellow Royal Clubber Emily Nash pointed out in her weekly newsletter, it’s likely that Kate will have a new portrait lined up for her daughter, like the sweet snap released of Prince Louis on his sixth birthday.
And one of King Charles’s cousins will pass a big milestone on Wednesday… read on to find out more.
Monday
The Prince and Princess of Wales will mark their 13th wedding anniversary together. They are likely to celebrate the occasion privately.
Meanwhile, the Queen will host the 'Maiden' yachting crew to congratulate them on their unprecedented win of the Ocean Globe Race, becoming the first ever all-female crew to win an around-the-world yacht race.
Tuesday
The Prince of Wales will travel up to the Northeast of England, visiting Earthshot Prize finalist, Low Carbon Materials, in Seaham and then to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne to officially open James' Place Newcastle to hear about the support they provide to men experiencing suicidal crisis.
The Princess Royal will carry out engagements in London, including attending a graduation ceremony at the Barbican Centre in her role as Chancellor of the University of London.
The Duke of Edinburgh will attend a Trustees' meeting and dinner as Chairman of The Prince Philip Fund for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead at The Windsor Guildhall.
Wednesday
King Charles' maternal cousin and the daughter of the late Princess Margaret, Lady Sarah Chatto, will celebrate her 60th birthday.
One of the late Queen's favourite events, the Royal Windsor Horse Show, will kick off on Wednesday, with the Duchess of Edinburgh expected to attend, while the Duke of Edinburgh will carry out engagements in Newport and Cowes.
The Princess Royal will be at The Princess Royal Training Awards Conference at Guildhall and the Whitley Awards Ceremony 2024 at The Royal Geographical Society, both in London.
Thursday
More celebrations for the Wales family as Princess Charlotte celebrates her ninth birthday!
The Princess Royal will also join the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
Friday
The Princess Royal will begin a three-day visit to Canada.
There's also more opportunity for birthday cake as Princess Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank, turns 38.
