On Friday, I asked if you preferred the name Beatrice or Annabel.
It was a tight one with 51 per cent saying Annabel and 49 per cent choosing Beatrice.
I prefer the name Annabel, too, however I do think it sounds less royal – would you agree?

As you will have read, King Felipe and Queen Letizia are vacationing in Greece for their summer holiday.
The family arrived in Athens last Wednesday, and I have to say that is one place I’ve never been to.
In 2023 and 2024, I spent my holidays in Corfu, a gorgeous Greek island, but dare I say, too hot. There’s only so much sitting by the pool I can do in that heat.
Therefore, I know I would prefer Athens as I am the type of holidaymaker who enjoys relaxing, but also require some sightseeing to keep myself moving.
So for today’s poll:

Believe me, as I’m typing this I wish I were on holiday and not enduring a London heatwave. So apologies for another influx of royal holiday pics but they were too scenic not to share.
Lady Kitty Spencer posted a summery carousel of photos from her holiday in the Hamptons. I particularly loved this video of her and her husband, Michael, helping their daughter Athena catch some waves.
It’s no wonder TV shows can be set in the Hamptons, as it’s such a glamorous seaside setting – more so than a British one.

Beach or city - now how do I choose when my choice is countryside, or mountains! I don’t know the Hamptons, but have visited Athens several times over the years.
I live in Westhampton full-time. It's more fun in the summer and the beaches are enjoyed by all--but the traffic and crowding are terrible and it is difficult to get into many restaurants. The shoulder seasons are my favorite: they are less crowded but there is still a lot going on. January, February and March are bleak--and the best time to travel.
