Cannot believe that this veteran is 1005yrs. I watched the ceremony on BBC one this morning listening to this gentleman.
Saying I’m going off script a little mention about King Charles cancer treatment and this gentleman who has been cancer free for 25yrs.
Reading his diaries for the time his spent fighting the Japanese war his speech was moving and mentioning his beloved late english wife.
I can’t believe he’s 1005 yrs old either.
