And the winner is…
Yesterday I asked if you’re a fan of Christmas – and I’m very pleased that 85 per cent of you are!
As we approach the Christmas period, I can definitely run some more royal-themed festive polls – and maybe I’ll even get to attend a royal seasonal event I can film!
But for now, I’m going to park the seasonal cheer…
Poll of the day
As you’ll read, Princess Charlene rocked a ra-ra skirt back in 2012 – a fashion look I haven’t seen in a while.
I’m a huge fan of Princess Charlene’s style, and this glittery dress is exactly what I’d wear. I love the ombré blue sequins – ombré is another fashion trend I think could make a comeback.
As this dress was worn in 2012, it’s very reflective of 2010s fashion – even for the royals – when ruffles and sparkles were seen as fun and not too ‘over the top’. Nowadays royals tend to opt for more neutral tones in line with current fashion trends, but I do miss these whacky dresses that added a playful twist to otherwise formal royal outings.
If not, do you remember any other royal outfits from the 2000s or 2010s that you thought were fun? Let me know in the comments…
Picture of the day
In honour of The Celebrity Traitors starting tonight (in the UK), today’s picture of the day is TV producer Stephen Lambert receiving his OBE at Windsor Castle. He is the executive producer behind The Traitors, Gogglebox, Race Across the World and Squid Game: The Challenge – some of the most beloved British TV shows!
Will those of you based in the UK be watching The Celebrity Traitors this evening?
