Hi Royal Clubbers, it’s Iona here.
First up, here’s the best of the royal coverage over on HELLO! today.
Lady Louise Windsor to return to university - where she and other European royals study
King Charles and Queen Camilla quietly hold concert at Balmoral with royal relatives
Princess Anne's husband Sir Tim Laurence given incredible honour during Scottish break
And the winner is…
Yesterday I asked if you would have live-in palace staff if you were in Prince William and Princess Catherine’s position, and I was rather surprised to see that 61 per cent of you said no!
The lack of privacy I can understand, but surely it would be so useful to have someone close at hand if you needed it?
Then again, if William and Catherine are aiming to give their progeny as ‘normal’ an upbringing as possible, something live-in staff doesn’t exactly accomplish.
Poll of the day
As you will have read, Princess Beatrice is making moves in the tech space.
Proving her vast talent, Princess Beatrice has been appointed as a director at Purpose Economy Intelligence Ltd, working alongside a senior figure at the World Economic Forum to launch a new business.
While I am delighted for her, I had wondered if Princess Beatrice were likely to step up and support her cousin Prince William as a working member of the royal family, even on a part-time basis. It seems to me like the senior royals could use all the support they can get, and Princess Beatrice has always been passionate about causes close to her heart.
Then again, she is clearly thriving as a professional and mother of two. What do you think?
So for today’s poll:
As ever, please expand on your answer in the comments.
Picture of the day
This adorable photograph was taken in 2005, shortly after Queen Letizia left hospital with a newborn Princess Leonor. She looks so tiny here (the baby, not Letizia)!
