Hi Royal Clubbers, it’s Iona here.
Firstly, here’s the best of the royal coverage over on HELLO! today:
Very unflattering childhood nickname Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was given by his nanny
Emotional Prince Edward appears to break down in tears in ‘unusual’ unseen picture
Zara Tindall crowned best-dressed at Cheltenham Festival in ‘incredibly polished’ silky 1980s look
Moment Princess Catherine sensed Prince William needed ‘quick boost’ at Westminster Abbey
Picture of the day
In a throwback photo shared today, the Royal Collection Trust pictured Prince Edward playing with his brother, King Charles, and his sister, Princess Anne, in 1969 on go-karts. Today marks Edward’s 62nd birthday, and it is always sweet to look back on old photos. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the trust chose a picture not featuring the full quartet of young Windsor siblings. Andrew will likely have to get used to being airbrushed from commemorative photos such as this, but is editing history ever justifiable? Answer the poll and expand on your thoughts in the comments.

Really sad to read about this. How did Andrew treat his own children? I saw that video of him pushing aside one of his nephews at his daughter's christening. Beatrice and Eugenie seem well adjusted despite their parents and I think it is because their grandparents Elizabeth and Philip played a big part in their lives.
I believe it’s necessary to “airbrush” Andrew aside from. He may have been the Queen’s favorite but he also dishonored her the most. His life choices have been abhorrent. He lies, backtracks and then lies some more. If Andrew truly loved his Mum, he would step aside willingly and leave the Royal family in peace. Finally, would/ could Great Britain survive an Andrew monarchy? I think not. Remove him!
