Best of HELLO! royal coverage today
Prince William and Princess Catherine win legal battle and more...
Hi Royal Clubbers, it’s Iona here.
Firstly, here’s the best of the royal coverage over on HELLO! today.
Princess Catherine’s fishnet tights and mini dress could be her most iconic outfit yet
Queen Camilla’s sad nod to passion she gave up in ‘dressage’ boots
Princess Beatrice’s husband soldiers on with 17-acre ‘woodland house’ project
And the winner is…
Yesterday, I asked if you thought Prince Harry did a good attempt at an American accent in his podcast interview.
83 per cent of Royal Club members did not think he did. Many of our readers are American, and while I am not, I have to agree that the accent was a bit dodgy. At least he committed to it with confidence!
Poll of the day
As you may have read, Princess Catherine’s 2007 ‘rock-chick’ witch costume was very much in Halloween spirit.
This made me reflect on other royals who have dressed up for Halloween; they clearly enjoy a bit of fancy dress even though they don’t formally celebrate it!
My personal favourite is Princess Beatrice’s memorable unicorn attire from Annabel’s Halloween party in October 2018. It is great to see the royals relax and adopt elaborate costumes – though she likely could not wear this for her official duties.
Fancy dress is also planned for my own Halloween house party this year. However, I’m very disorganised with my costume and will be doing last-minute errands tomorrow…
I am keen to know if you also enjoy dressing up for Halloween. Let me know in the comments if you have a favourite costume from past years!
Picture of the day
Balmoral Castle posted this picturesque photo on Instagram today; it really resembles an old-fashioned Disney castle, don’t you think?
The post was to inform followers that the grounds will be open for a few selected dates this autumn.
As a historic royal residence with such beautiful architecture, I can certainly see why the royals cherish it. What do you think of Balmoral?
Thursday’s puzzles
See you tomorrow, Royal Clubbers!

I gave up on dressing up for Halloween when I was 14 years old.I still enjoy the costumes and the children who come to the for for treats. The decorations of the houses on my paper route still amaze me in how much people really enjoy the time and day.
My era was always Halloween for the children. I still feel that way.
