Poll of the day
As you will have read, royal photographer Chris Levine has revealed the story behind his famous portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, including the technology he used.
I really like that the photo highlights a moment of calm for the late Queen – it’s such a beautiful photo.
From previous polls, I know many of you enjoy photography, so I hope you enjoy the article and the picture.

I’m also curious – are there any other royals you’d like to see a portrait of? Let me know in the comments!
Picture of the day
This photo of Princess Charlene sent shockwaves as royal fans noticed her red pedicure! It was taken last week while she was marking World First Aid Day with her foundation and the Red Cross, teaching young children the importance of first aid techniques.
Her casual outfit – a Nike jacket and cargo pants – also proves that royals sometimes like to go to work in their comfy clothes too!

This portrait of our dear Queen is essentially a foreboding of her death. She has such lovely and loved face that is so alive when her eyes are open and she is smiling. Seeing her like this just reminds me that she has passed and is no longer with us. I prefer to think of Her Majestsy in the present. This will never be a favorite portrait for me. For me, HRH Queen Elizabeth II is forever Queen of the UK and all of her other titles; most of all, HRH Queen Elizabeth II will always be my Queen and I will always love her dearly. ❤️
