Hi, Royal Puzzlers.
Welcome to Monday’s prize crossword. For those who missed last week’s prize crossword post it contained the following announcement:
Mindful of how compressed our inboxes tend to be in the digital age, with the exception of Monday’s prize crossword, we are going to cease sending our daily puzzles over email.
Instead, at 10am each day UK time we will be posting them on The HELLO! Royal Club landing page. For those who love playing puzzles, your enjoyment won’t be affected. For those who don’t play puzzles, then it’s one less email in your inbox to contend with. But for those who like getting their puzzles over email, we will be including a link to that day’s puzzle in our daily round-up email, sent at 5pm UK time.
Hopefully that’s clear, and now on with the post. How did you get on with Friday’s royal crossword? It was of course your last chance to get the week’s royal connection which was royals who are second in line to the throne. Here are the clues and answers which led you to the link:
Monday: Letizia’s youngest – Infanta Sofia
Tuesday: Rania’s youngest – Prince Hashem
Wednesday: Mathilde’s second child – Prince Gabriel
Thursday: King Harald V’s granddaughter – Ingrid Alexandra
Friday: William and Kate’s first born – Prince George
How Royal Club puzzles work
For those new to club, each week we send a daily crossword (plus a bonus generic puzzle) which contains a clue linking to the week’s royal theme. Guessing the theme is just for personal satisfaction, but Monday’s crossword doubles up as our weekly prize puzzle. Solve the grid and enter for your chance to win a gift voucher redeemable worldwide worth £20 (or the currency equivalent in your country).
As a reminder, today’s prize crossword and bonus puzzle are available to all members. However, if you wish to play puzzles for the rest of the week and solve the royal connection, you will need to upgrade to paid which you can do by clicking on the button below.
All clear? If not, don’t worry. You can always get in touch with us at royalclub@hellomagazine.com for further explanation.
