Hello Royal Clubbers,
It's Ainhoa here with another poll. And this time we're asking if you think Princess Catherine will make an appearance at Wimbledon this year.
It's one of the highlights of her summer diary and when she couldn't attend back in 2013 because she was heavily pregnant with Prince George, the Princess wrote a personal letter to that year's champion, Andy Murray, to apologise for missing his big win.
Over the weekend, she also made the rare move of sharing a post on Twitter/X, congratulating Andy on his incredible Wimbledon career and thanking him on behalf of the tennis community as he retired from the tournament.
Catherine is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, but she's been a massive fan of the sport since long before her royal association. I wrote all about her love affair with tennis and Wimbledon in a recent newsletter here.
I personally think that if she is able to, she will make every effort to attend either the men and women's singles final, which fall on Sunday and Saturday respectively, if not both.
She is clearly in her element watching Wimbledon, and if she isn't able to carry out her full duties such as presenting the winners' trophies, at least she'll have had a fun day out in the Royal Box. After all, her doctors have told her to continue doing the things that bring her joy amid her cancer treatment, and we all know just how much she loves the championships.
It was "very much part of my growing up," Catherine has said previously. "It's such a quintessential part of the English summer, and I think it really inspires youngsters, myself, it inspired me when I was younger to get involved in the game. It hasn't changed either, I think that's what's so wonderful."
I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Make sure to vote below!
