What's next for Andrew Mountbatten Windsor
The Royal Editor on the fall of a Prince
Hi Royal Clubbers, it’s Emily here, coming to you after an unprecedented week.
He was born a Prince, addressed as “His Royal Highness” all his life and on his wedding day, given the Dukedom of York, as well as the titles of Earl of Inverness and Baron Killyleagh.
Queen Elizabeth’s second son, once a Falklands war hero, was also decorated with the Order of the Garter and invested as a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.
But as of today he is just plain Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, with his Princely and other titles now all scrubbed from the Peerage Roll by the Lord Chancellor.
