WATCH: William mingles with TV greats
He was reunited with Stephen Merchant, Andy Serkis and Celia Imrie
Hello Royal Clubbers,
We all know how much of a film buff Prince William is, so it was no surprise to see him in his element as he paid a visit to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) headquarters in London today.
William, who is president of the charity, rubbed shoulders with actors Stephen Merchant, Andy Serkis and Celia Imrie, and film director Paul Greengrass, all four of whom are donors to the Prince William BAFTA Bursary fund. The fund gives grants of up to £2,000 to help underrepresented young people build their career in film, games or television.
William tried to convince director Paul Greengrass to make another Jason Bourne film (spoiler alert: no joy!), while also admitting that his three children George, Charlotte, and Louis are forever "wrestling over the remote" at home.
The Prince also gave a speech, praising BAFTA for supporting young people who are trying to break into the film and TV industry.
