I watched the documentary and came into this with an mostly open mind. I know about them only what I’ve read. And I wanted to see how a documentary that they sponsored would portray them.

OmFFFFFg. 🫣 😵‍💫 🙄. It’s horrible.

Obviously, we want them to be happy. And in the big picture, that’s all that matters. If they are happy with one another and can integrate their families into some level of happiness, that’s what is important. And it seems she has a good relationship with her daughters.

When the show was over, I felt very little empathy for them.

He is a pompous queen, which at least he admits. He is a diva and a charlatan. He may not be evil but he doesn’t live with kindness. There are ulterior motives to everything he says and does. Despite this, he makes himself out to be a victim when he causes his own turmoil. He is a vision of grandeur in his own mind.

For her … well, she got herself into this scenario. I felt empathy for her as she discussed the death and funeral of Ari - and the impact on the kids. But that’s about it.

I wanted to like them. I wanted to understand. I admit: I’m biased about their other-world, reptilian, shaman, cockamamie existence. But I was willing to give them a chance. But it never happened. They never showed a side of themselves that would warrant normalcy.
