Hi Royal Clubbers,
The King and Queen enjoyed a day of pomp and pageantry as the royals gathered for Trooping the Colour.
The annual procession marks the monarch's official birthday, with Charles carrying out an inspection of the military parade, this year featuring the Coldstream Guards.
As he did in 2024, the King rode in the carriage procession with his wife, Camilla, instead of riding horseback. As a mark of respect, along with senior officers and those riding in the parade, he wore a black armband to pay tribute to those who died in the Air India crash.
Keeping her expert eye on proceedings was our Royal Editor, Emily Nash. Fresh from filing her cover story for next week’s HELLO! Magazine, she was joined by Royal Clubber Andrea Caamano to discuss today’s military spectacular.
Watch the discussion below to discover Emily and Andrea’s parade highlights, including a significant Trooping first and, of course, the array of stylish outfits on display. As an added bonus, at the end of their chat you can see all the best footage from the day, including the sensational fly past. And for those who can’t get enough of Trooping fashion, tomorrow’s The Royal Wardrobe will contain an analysis of the royal ladies’ dresses on show today…
