Hello Royal Clubbers, it’s Millie here with a video bound to appeal to all admirers of princes in uniform.
Earlier today, Prince William redonned his khaki to go and watch the Welsh Guards on manoeuvres on Salisbury Plain.
He tried his hand with a sniper’s rifle and a machine gun, and even operated one of the battalion’s new £7,500 drones. Given his avowed love of the armed forces, the Prince was full of questions for attending servicemen.
“He was asking [about] the price of the system, how it worked. He was asking a lot of questions about Ukraine and the use of drones in the conflict.” an impressed drone operator told assembled media.
“To have a member of the royal family come out and visit us in training is great for morale and [shows] great leadership.”
