WATCH: Prince William hosts a palace party in the rain!
The Prince of Wales was joined by some very special guests...
Hi Royal Clubbers,
The weather certainly didn't rain on the Prince of Wales's parade as he hosted his first garden party of 2024.
And the guests in attendance at the rather soggy soiree at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday afternoon certainly didn't let the wet weather dampen their spirits as they mingled with several members of the royal family.
Prince William invited his royal cousins, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall and her husband, Mike, to join him on hosting duties as the Princess of Wales continues preventative chemotherapy treatment following her cancer diagnosis.
The future king, 41, joked that it was "perfect weather for swimming" as he chatted with guests, including a number from the Prince and Princess of Wales's patronages, affiliations and passion projects including; Homewards, RAF Valley, Swim England and tenants across Duchy of Cornwall sites.
It was certainly a contrast to the wonderful summer's day that our HELLO! colleagues, Sophie Vokes-Dudgeon and Tamsyn Spires, enjoyed with the King just last week. Catch up here if you missed the behind-the-scenes video.
But for now, watch the moment when William stood for the national anthem as he arrived for hosting duties in the rain…
