Last week I was lucky enough to be one of the first people ever to tour inside Balmoral Castle in Scotland, the Royal Family's private Highland residence. It's the holiday home where the King traditionally spends every summer, and the place where the late Queen Elizabeth II was said to be happiest.

I felt incredibly privileged to be given a preview of the surprisingly intimate space before the Castle's interior is opened to the public for the first time ever today.

Standing in the Drawing Room, where the late Queen Elizabeth II posed for her last photograph, I found myself unexpectedly moved and wanted to share this video with you. Sadly filming and photography inside the castle is not allowed, but I've included plenty of photos in the clip, and I think you'll agree, the grounds are pretty spectacular!
