No! The only reason he likes going to the UK is for the pomp and circumstance, and the pageantry.

I think you're correct. It puffs him up and fills his need to feel very, very important. It makes him proud that he has some Scottish ancestry.

Well, he is of Scottish ancestry and I like that he is proud of it.

We should all be proud of our ancestry and thankful too.

BTW He is very very important...

I'd love to be there seeing all of that too.

I have respect for their ancestry even though there are very dark times in their, and every other countries, on this planet.

As Americans who admire the civility of the Royal Family, we are disappointed Starmer made this 2nd State visit possible.

Hopefully, someone on the editorial side will eliminate the (4) four duplicate posts (from cream crackers) so that only one shows. More than 200 million of us are against Trump's tear-down of all, block of transparency, normalizing of his crimes (election rigging, insurrection-starting, theft, fraud, coercion, taking bribes, money laundering hush money payments, and more). His firing of hundreds of thousands of knowledgeable & experienced personnel & the replacement of them with flunkies who are not qualified. experienced, nor knowledgeable. They are, however, totally obedient to Trump, not the U.S. nor the U. S. Constitution. His picks of Dept. heads have not been succeeding, especially in education, homeland security, and, of course, health.

Multi-millions of us followed Trump since the U.S. Dept. of Justice sued Trump and his father for refusing to do business with the black population. His thefts, sleaze, deadbeat status, fraud, lies, scams were embedded in U.S. history by 2016. By 2020, the Supreme Court ruled that he did commit election rigging, fraud, coercion, defamation, ordering the attack on Dems. at the Capitol (starting the insurrection), thefts, money laundering of hush money payments, and accepting bribes.

Trump's admiration and support of despots Putin, Jong-un, & other oppressive leaders of enemy countries was well known in the U.S. He gladly accepted a "flying palace" of a jumbo jet from Qataqr, an oppressive nation that supports the terrorist Hamas (who violated females, murdered men, women, and kids, and use humans as shields as they set off bombs onto Israel, using the bombs, weapons, and arsenal hidden in churches, schools, hospitals, and tunnels. They have broken ever truce, every pact, every agreement made. A few days ago, Trump called Qatar to warn them he plans to have U.S. military shoot down all Hamas being hidden in Qatar.

That's Trump, the one who gave himself huge tax cuts (at the expense of the U.S. economy). Trump's disregard of the mass population during COVID, the denial, delay & bungles were astronimical (helping to propel the death toll & unemployment figures, crater the economy, and keep the product & foot shortages high.

That's the person who is visiting royalty; the one who disregarded human rights & judicial orders, preyed on many others, and broke laws with no regard for decency. Not hard to locate confirming info (starting from 1972, the year he was sued by the Dept. of Justice for refusing to do business with black individuals and families.. The white supremacy continued all throughout his first term.

Since the Supreme Court ruled that Trump did rig the 2020 election, defrauded the population, used coercion, collusion, fraud, and other illegal means to rig the election, it makes no legal or ethical sense to ignore T? Trump's massive crimes and go on as normal. The Supreme Court also confirmed Trump's insurrection, thefts, money laundering, and bribe-taking.

I agree with Abbey about what a horrible person Trump has been and continues to be. Majority people think the same.

Everyone is super disappointed that Starmer is even worse than the wet lettuce when we thought nothing could be ' badder '. And indeed the UK PM is feckless. Apart from Starmer's poor governance, lack of backbone in blatant acquiescence to the US, he is in fact mindless enough to have advised Charles to host Trump the 2nd time round.

Abby appears to rely exclusively on far-left new that reports both incorrect and highly biased information. It wouldn't hurt for Abby to be open to receiving her political information from conservative reporting as well. A more balanced point of view couldn't hurt any of Royal Club readers.

He is our President, whether some people like it or not, and yes he deserves to go and represent us. We, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, do so much for everyone in the world and they ALWAYS CALL US FIRST WHEN THEY NEED HELP. I GET SICK OF IT, WE HAVE ENOUGH PROBLEMS AT HOME WITHOUT DEALING WITH THE WORLD, SO IF OUR PRESIDENT GOES TO THE UK, GOOD FOR HIM. HOPE HE HAD A GOOD TIME AND HE REPRESENTED VERY WELL. MELANIA LOOKED OUTSTANDING! GREAT FIRST LADY.

SINCERELY, JO M.

Trump saluting is silly, I feel he has no rights to salute at all, hand over heart would be more appropriate for that draft dogger. Also, Melania's space ship hat, something to hide her identity to the world? Looks like it's a fashion statement from the 30's - '40's? or space?
