Father and son marked the D-Day landings anniversary

You’ll be receiving my newsletter later today, but I wanted to send a quick video as I’ve spent the day in Portsmouth on the south coast, where King Charles, Queen Camilla, and Prince William have joined commemorations to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
It’s been a really poignant day. Both the King and Prince gave heartfelt speeches, acknowledging all that our war veterans have done. The Queen’s eyes brimmed with tears at one point as she listened to one veteran recount losing his friend on the beaches of Normandy.
I was also fortunate enough to meet some of the D-Day heroes after.
