WATCH: Charles and Camilla join a tea party
The royal couple were on a two-day trip to the Channel Islands

King Charles and Queen Camilla have been on a whirlwind trip to the Channel Islands and today saw them tour Guernsey.
The sun was shining for the royal couple, who started their packed schedule by attending a short special sitting of the States of Deliberation (Guernsey's parliament). The King delivered a speech, which you can watch in the video below, after which they headed to Crown Pier where they were guests of honour at a tea party.
Delighting in the best that Guernsey has to offer at a showcase of the island's culture, heritage, produce, and environmental initiatives, Charles also sampled a local ale while Camilla treated herself to an ice cream.
