Hello Royal Clubbers,
You'll be pleased to hear that the summer royal drought is over and members of The Firm are well and truly back at work. Earlier today, Queen Camilla travelled to Bath to open a new state-of-the-art cancer centre at the Royal United Hospital.
While she gave an update on her husband King Charles, saying he is "doing very well", the Queen also gave a speech, congratulating staff on how brilliant the new facility is and how "welcoming" it felt for cancer patients and visitors.
You can tell that Camilla was speaking from the heart as she stood in the atrium and thanked the hospital for inviting her to open the new Dyson Cancer Centre.
During the tour, she stopped by the Macmillan Wellbeing Hub, a non-clinical, calming space where she met patients and their families and carers, who are receiving practical as well as emotional support.
She highlighted how everyone seemed to be "over the moon" with the centre. "It's got a very welcoming atmosphere, you can see that it actually really lifts people's spirits in a very difficult time."
