The couple are celebrating 13 years of marriage today
Happy 13th wedding anniversary to Mike and Zara Tindall! The couple tied the knot on 30 July 2011 in Edinburgh, Scotland – just three months after the Prince and Princess of Wales.
In keeping with Mike and Zara's style and their wishes, and given that Princess Anne's daughter is not or never has been a senior royal, their wedding at Canongate Kirk was a more low-key, understated affair than the big "royal wedding of the year".
Zara is said to have chosen Scotland because of her close links and affinity with the country. Not only did she enjoy her time at Gordonstoun School in Moray, but she also loves holidaying in Balmoral with the rest of the royal family. The bride was said to have also paid tribute to her mother Anne, who married her second husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, at Crathie Kirk in Aberdeenshire in December 1992.
From Zara's electric blue toenails (her "something blue"), to the couple's vodka fountain at their reception, the whole day was reflective of their fun and party-loving nature.
Since that special day, the couple have welcomed daughters Mia, ten, and Lena, six, as well as three-year-old son Lucas. The Tindalls are often spotted supporting mum Zara at horse trials, enjoying days out at polo matches or eventing festivals, and hanging out with their royal cousins at big family occasions.
Mike and Zara are also one of the most tactile royal couples, never shy to pack on the PDA. In honour of their anniversary, we've selected five of our favourite photos of all time. Vote for yours below and please do expand in the comments!
