After looking at the results of our recent poll, I see that many of you have a great interest in King Felipe and Queen Letizia – particularly their wedding – so I thought I would treat you all to a look back at their royal romance.
Much like many of the UK royals, Felipe didn't comply with convention when it came to finding his one true love.
Letizia, who is now famed for her excellency as the Queen of Spain – and her unbelievably chic royal wardrobe – was born to a journalist father and nurse mother with no stake in the royal family whatsoever.
Much like our own Princess of Wales, whose on-point sense of style is often compared to that of Letizia's, the future Queen's world flipped on its head when she fell in love with her royal beau.
