Hi Royal Clubbers, it’s Millie back again to bring you this week's edition of The Royal Dispatch.
We saw not one but two garden parties this week, and plenty of royal outings to get stuck into.
But before we get on to the best royal pictures of the week, time for some history.
On This Day…
On 17 May 1536, George Boleyn, Sir Henry Norris, Sir Francis Weston, William Brereton and Mark Smeaton were executed for high treason, having been found guilty of adultery with Queen Anne Boleyn and conspiring with her to kill King Henry VIII.
They were escorted out of the Tower of London and up to the scaffold on Tower Hill, where the five men were to be executed. While the punishment for treason was to be hung, drawn and quartered, Henry showed them the mercy (!) of a quick death, and all five men were beheaded in order of rank.
Mark Smeaton, as the lowest-ranking man there, made no mention of his confession of adultery with Anne Boleyn. When she heard of this, she reportedly said: “Did he not exonerate me […] before he died, of the public infamy he laid on me? Alas! I fear his soul will suffer for it.”
Anne herself was beheaded two days later.
Best Royal Pictures of The Week
Prince William
Prince William donned his royal regalia on Friday for the Order of the Bath service at Westminster Abbey.
The outing marked a significant milestone for William, who was formally installed as the Great Master of the Order — a position previously held by his father - and didn’t he look majestic in his red cape?
King Charles also attended the special occasion, looking equally imposing in a red cape of his own.
The Princess of Wales

During a visit to the Royal Windsor Horse Show, Duchess Sophie of Edinburgh tucked into the treats on offer, nibbling on a liqueur chocolate as she browsed the stands at the equestrian event.

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet

She added a waist-defining belt, a matching clutch bag and Chopard jewellery to complete the look.

Courtesy of royally-approved brand Self-Portrait, the dress featured dramatic silk lapels and a sheer, flowy crepe skirt.
Queen Camilla
Queen Camilla attended the same event, accompanied by a special guest – her sister, Annabel Elliot. Though Her Majesty’s sister mainly avoids the limelight, she appeared in the background of several photos.
Princess Maria Carolina
Italian royal Princess Maria Carolina was a hit on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival, looking glamorous in a statement-making black and white dress.
