It’s been another year of ups and downs for the royal family.
The Princess of Wales confirmed she was in remission from cancer at the start of 2025, with the King ending it on the announcement that his treatment will be reduced in the new year.
The senior royals have marked commemorative milestones as well as personal ones, including Princess Anne’s 75th birthday and Princess Charlotte turning ten.
Love has been in the air as Peter Phillips proposed to his girlfriend and NHS nurse, Harriet Sperling, over the summer, while Princess Beatrice welcomed her second child in January.
The royals have also had to navigate tumultuous waters as the King stripped his brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, of all of his royal titles amid a string of scandals. And in September, they bid farewell to a much-loved family member.
