Hi Royal Clubbers, it’s Danielle here with this month's festive edition of The Royal Wardrobe.

The royal family will soon retreat to Sandringham to celebrate Christmas, with the King and Queen and their family members stepping out for the annual walk to St Mary Magdalene church for the morning service.

Us mere mortals tend to fall in one of two camps with our Christmas Day attire – dress up in your Sunday best or stay in your comfiest pyjamas.

For royals, however, Christmas Day is a huge public occasion, and their choice of outfits never fails to reflect this significance. Join me as I showcase some of their finest festive ensembles from over the years.
