I don't know about you, but it feels like the royal show is well and truly back on the road again with King Charles and Prince William making prominent appearances in the past week.
Earlier today, the monarch and the first-in-line to the throne carried out a joint engagement, which may not necessarily have made big headlines pre Charles' cancer diagnosis, but to see father and son reunited again, undertaking official duties, was a strong reminder of old times.
And it was a particularly poignant engagement at that. The King, 75 – who you wouldn't have guessed was undergoing treatment for cancer still – handed over his role of Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps, a position he has held for 32 years, to his eldest son William.
Interestingly, if Prince Harry were still a working royal, the role probably would have gone to him seeing as he actually served with the regiment during his second tour of Afghanistan.
