Royal diary: What's coming up this week
The British royals are expected to come together for a special tribute
The royal family will be out in force on Tuesday as they pay a touching tribute to King Constantine II – the last King of Greece – who died at the age of 82 in January 2023.
The Greek and British royal families always had a good relationship, with the King close to his second cousin Constantine throughout his lifetime.
Sadly, Charles is expected to miss the Thanksgiving Service amid his cancer treatment, but Queen Camilla will be leading the British royals.
Meanwhile, Queen Mary of Denmark will return to royal duties, and there's also a couple of birthdays to celebrate this week. Keep reading to find out more.
Monday
Princess Anne will attend the British Horseracing Authority's Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards 2024 at Ascot Racecourse.
Queen Mary of Denmark will also make her first public appearance after the Danish royal family's winter break. Her Majesty will preside over the awarding of the Ministry of Education and Research's Elite Research Awards 2024.
Tuesday
Queen Camilla will lead members of the royal family at a special Thanksgiving Service for the late King Constantine at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
The Greek royal family is expected to join them, alongside other members of foreign royal families.
Wednesday
The Princess Royal will attend the Emergency Medicine Trainees Association Conference in Tyne and Wear, north east England, in her role as patron of The Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
Thursday
Princess Anne will be at Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Football Club to attend a Rugby League Reception in her role as royal patron of Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Friday
There's no rest for the Princess Royal as she'll be travelling to Jebel Ali, Dubai for the Seafarers Awareness and Orientation Day.
It also happens to be Anne's husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence's 69th birthday on 1 March.
Saturday
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden's son, Prince Oscar, will celebrate his eighth birthday. The couple's eldest child, Princess Estelle, turned 12 last week.
