Royal Diary: What's coming up this summer

We're all going on a royal summer holiday...

It's that time of year when, like many of us, the royals take a summer holiday.

We've certainly enjoyed a jam-packed schedule over the past few months, which has seen the King celebrate Trooping the Colour, attend garden parties, have a flutter at the races and host the Japanese royals for a State Visit.

But now, the royals' diaries are set to be a little quieter in the coming weeks as they wind down for a break from public duties, with the King and Queen expecting to host their families at Balmoral in August, as tradition.

Here's what you can expect over the next few weeks…
