The royal family's summer schedule shows no signs of slowing down just yet as the King and Queen will make a historic visit to the Channel Islands this week.
It will be Charles and Camilla's first visit to the Bailiwicks of Jersey and Guernsey – the two Crown Dependencies off the north-west coast of France – since the King acceded to the throne.
And in another royal first, Charles will make his first King's Speech at the State Opening of Parliament under the new Labour government following the UK General Election.
After making her first public appearance on Friday, visiting the Riding for the Disabled Association's (RDA) National Championships, the Princess Royal is making a phased return to her duties.
According to the diary, she has engagements in Scotland, Norfolk and Worcestershire this week, but these are subject to change depending on her recovery.
Plus, there's some special celebrations for Queen Camilla and Princess Beatrice this week.
