Robert Jobson: Will Charles and Harry reunite in the US?
Royal author reveals whether a Stateside reconciliation is on the cards...
Hello Royal Clubbers,
It’s Ainhoa here with a thought-provoking post for you by royal author Robert Jobson.
A big talking point in the royal news cycle this month has been whether the King will reunite with his distant son Prince Harry when he visits the US next year. The palace has not confirmed whether Charles and Camilla will travel Stateside, but rumour has it they have been invited on an official visit to celebrate the country’s 250 years of independence. The trip reportedly includes an invitation to the White House by President Donald Trump.
The long-haul trip begs the question – if the King, 77, is travelling all the way to the US, should he not fit in time to see his son, and more importantly, his two grandchildren Prince Archie and Princess Lili who he’s scarcely met?
Robert Jobson reveals the most likely outcome and explains why there’s “no winning move on this delicate chessboard of political and family diplomacy”…
