Charles often refers to Kate as his “darling daughter-in-law”

Hi Royal Clubbers.

I just wanted to send a quick voicenote following on the news that King Charles was admitted to hospital this morning to undergo a procedure on his enlarged prostrate. He is being treated at The London Clinic, the same private hospital where Princess Kate had her abdominal surgery last week and where she's currently recuperating.

In case you missed it, my fellow Royal Clubber Isabelle reported live from the hospital (you can watch her video here) and also sent this detailed post about what The London Clinic is like inside, complete with photos of the rooms and the lunch menus.

With Charles and Kate both in the same hospital, it got me thinking about their relationship as father and daughter-in-law, and just how strong and unique their bond is.

Listen to my voicenote below and please drop your thoughts in the comments section!

Kate said Charles was “very welcoming, very friendly” in their first meeting all those years ago

Plus, find out how Kate has been keeping in touch with her children from hospital.
