LISTEN: Get well soon Sarah, Duchess of York
We're sending the Duchess our best wishes following second cancer diagnosis
It's been a difficult start to the year for the British royal family, with King Charles' upcoming surgery for an enlarged prostrate, and the Princess of Wales' abdominal surgery and lengthy recovery that is expected to put her out of action until Easter.
And over the weekend, it was announced that Sarah, Duchess of York has received a second cancer diagnosis, this time for malignant melanoma.
The mother of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who received treatment for breast cancer last year, said she is in "good spirits" and "grateful for the many messages of love and support".
Understandably Sarah, 64, is taking time out for herself and is resting at home with her family. It comes after she was treated in London and then recuperated at the MAYRLIFE Clinic in Austria.
In a message on Instagram, she also urged everyone to be diligent and to check any new moles, because this could be a sign of melanoma.

I want to wish Sarah Gods blessing and true recovery from this threatening illness. I will have her in my prayers. Remember Jesus is the same as he was when here on earth. I have been through illnesses and even cancer, I believe I am always in Gods hands and never fear death.
