Hi Royal Clubbers,
A quick post to reveal the results of last weekend’s poll when we asked you whether we should stop referring to the Princess of Wales as ‘Kate’.
The poll was actually a lot closer than we anticipated, though among those of you who commented, there was almost total unanimity.

“I think that calling the Princess of Wales Kate was appropriate when she was the Duchess of Cambridge, but since her elevation to the position of Princess of Wales, and the Duchess of Cornwall, the name Catherine is far more appropriate, and importantly, Prince William and the Royal Family call her Catherine. Catherine, Princess of Wales has the ring of truth about it, and it is her birth name.”
While Geeta said:
“We should be calling her Princess of Wales or Princess Catherine of Wales as our Princess deserves this title as the wife of our Prince William, our Princess has also got a very loving relationship with her father in law our King Charles, Our Princess is a beautiful Wife, Mum and our amazing Princess of who devotes so much work in her royal duties especially her main passion early childhood life, god save our future Queen.”
However, Royal Reporter Lydia had a slightly different take:
“I personally think Princess of Wales is respectful. I mean I personally don't mind people using Princess Kate or Kate if they are using it in a nice way, it's when people using it disrespectfully I hate, which you all at the Hello Magazine don't ever do, your always so respectful of the Royals. But personally her husband calls her Catherine and we should call her The Princess of Wales because it is her rightful title. Anyway love the news keep it rolling.”
