Lady Anne Glenconner on spending Christmas with the royals and her trendsetting wedding dress

When it comes to royal connections, few can match those of Lady Anne Glenconner whose links to royalty go way back to her childhood. Not only was Lady Anne the late Queen's maid of honour, she worked with Princess Margaret as her lady-in-waiting for more than three decades.
When Lady Anne married Colin Tennant, 3rd Baron Glenconner in 1956, guests included both Margaret and the late Queen Mother.
She even wore a wedding dress designed by the late Queen Elizabeth's dressmaker at the time, Norman Hartnell.
And now the beautiful gown can be seen at Lady Anne's family home, Holkham Hall, as part of its Christmas display.
