Hi, Royal Clubbers!

When it comes to royal connections, few can match those of Lady Anne Glenconner whose links to royalty go way back to her childhood. Not only was Lady Anne the late Queen's maid of honour, she worked with Princess Margaret as her lady-in-waiting for more than three decades.

When Lady Anne married Colin Tennant, 3rd Baron Glenconner in 1956, guests included both Margaret and the late Queen Mother.

She even wore a wedding dress designed by the late Queen Elizabeth's dressmaker at the time, Norman Hartnell.

And now the beautiful gown can be seen at Lady Anne's family home, Holkham Hall, as part of its Christmas display.

To mark the display, we were delighted to speak to Lady Anne about her Holkham Hall festive traditions, the gown itself and why she chose it (and can you guess which current royal fashionista’s wedding dress it bears a similarity to?), and her royal-laden wedding day…
