We all know the royals are sticklers for traditions, particularly when it comes to weddings. But when Camilla Parker Bowles finally married Prince Charles - 19 years ago this coming Tuesday – they did things their way.

Firstly, the marriage would be a second for both, with Camilla having divorced her first husband Andrew Parker Bowles in 1995, and Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales officially ending their union the year after.

Charles and Camilla tied the knot in a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall, Berkshire followed by an official religious blessing at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on 9 April 2005.

The future Queen wore two wedding outfits on her big day – but unlike previous royal brides, she broke with tradition.
