We know that the royal family are sticklers for tradition in many aspects of their lives, including their wardrobes.

A common thread that runs through some of their patronages they support is the importance of upholding heritage.

And the Princess Royal's visit to G.H. Hurt & Son in Nottingham this week led me to think about some of the traditions the royals love to follow from the moment their children are born.
