Fashion Friday: Divisive royal outfits
The royals aren't afraid to shake things up every now and then
Hi Royal Clubbers,
It's Danielle here with your weekly Fashion Friday post!
Royal fashion has an important role to play, with the ladies in particular conveying certain messages or symbolism through their clothing choices.
And while the likes of the Princess of Wales's outfits have boosted the fashion industry through the "Kate Effect," there have been occasions where the royals have divided opinion from royal watchers and critics.
Take for instance, the bag coveted by Queen Camilla to her Reading Room Festival at Hampton Court Palace earlier this month.
Her Majesty, 76, teamed her stylish navy jumpsuit by Couture Atelier Anna Valentine with a navy clutch bag adorned with the words: 'Be a glamour girl.'
But many fans on social media questioned whether the slogan bag was an appropriate accessory for a Queen.
I for one, love to see Camilla, in particular, having a little fun with her sense of style. What do you think fellow Royal Clubbers?
And on that note, for this week's Fashion Friday, I'm taking a look at a few other divisive royal fashion moments.
