Fashion Friday: Crown Princess Mary's style evolution
Yes, there is Something about Mary and we should all take notes...
Hello Royal Clubbers!
We are two days away from Crown Prince Frederik's accession to the Danish throne and so I thought it would be fitting to talk about Crown Princess Mary's style for this week’s edition of Fashion Friday.
Tasmanian-born Mary often tops best-dressed royal lists and thanks to her long-time stylist and friend, Anja Camilla Alajdi, she has rarely put a foot wrong when it comes to style.
With her blow-dried brunette locks and a penchant for British fashion labels, including Jenny Packham, Alexander McQueen, Erdem and Beulah London, comparisons have naturally been made between Mary and the Princess of Wales.
Even the late designer Karl Lagerfeld said of the royal ladies in 2011: "Kate is like a younger sister to Mary, who is both beautiful and elegant."
But Mary also shares the same fashion morals as the Princess Royal and has a very conscientious approach to her wardrobe.
