Emily's four things to look out for in 2024
The royals are "looking forward to" a flurry of activity
Hello Royal Clubbers and Happy New Year!
It’s always strange getting back to work after the festive period, not least because the royal family are still on holiday for another week or two.
But it’s the perfect time to look ahead to what might be in store for them in a brand new year.
2023 saw a drop in the number of royal engagements carried out as the King and his heir Prince William got to grips with their new roles, and the King and Queen prepared for their historic coronation at Westminster Abbey.
But I’m told that in 2024 we will see a return to “pre-London Bridge” levels of activity. (As you likely know, London Bridge was the codename given to cover the death of Queen Elizabeth II).
So what will the royal diary going “back to normal” look like?
